They scream overhead,
"Go get your daughter! No,
She's already dead,"
"A shark in the ocean!"
That blood-curdling warning,
Legs fly into motion,
In prevention of mourning,
"A shark in the shallows,
Right up to the sand!"
Thy name, is it hallowed?
Just guide her frail hand,
"A shark in the water!"
I heard what you said,
Far too late now, the slaughter
Makes a watery deathbed.
One day I'll write something nice. I swear.
